Weep aloud young man

Captivated

I’m captivated at the moment
When I’m left with no disguise
For there’s no hiding lover’s glances
At the meeting of our eyes

It’s completely so transparent
The passion that we share
In but a fleeting instant
We’ve shared a lover’s stare

Even when the days grow weary
And the minutes far too long
I know my lover’s singing
In her eyes a lover’s song

Though the nights might separate us
And the stars give no reply
There is joy found in the morning
In a flicker of an eye

A glimmer with such brilliance
It’s embedded in her soul
There is no lacking instant
For Her love, it bears no lull

Mesmerized I am left standing
With a single thought in mind
Waiting with anticipation
For a lover’s gaze entwined
